BioPak Australia, 2013 – ongoing.

Billions of coffee cups enter landfill daily. Sustainable options exist, but how can these choices appeal more to cafes and their customers? How can the dead-space on the outside of the coffee cup, usually reserved for advertising, be harnessed for good?
The BioCup Art Series sees the work of 18 Australian and New Zealand based artists printed onto the surface of compostable paper hot-cups, with the selection of art changing each quarter.
The project kicks goals. By the end of 2016 the project had shared the work of over 100 creatives, printed over 20 Million pieces of environmentally friendly art and in 2016 helped offset 20,228 tonnes of CO2 emissions! I have also produced feasibility studies to expand the project to England and Israel.
